We like creating templates that help us complete a task more than once.  Recently, we decided to share the following templates with others by posting them on our website.  We hope you find them useful in your business or practice.

  1. IRC §754 Election – An IRC Section 754 election allows a partnership to adjust the basis of the property within a partnership under IRC Sections 734(b) and 743(b) when one of two triggering events occur: i) a distribution of partnership property or ii) certain transfers of a partnership interest.
  2. Working Capital Safe Harbor Plan – A good Working Capital Safe Harbor Plan is important during the start-up of a Qualified Opportunity Zone Business (“QOZB”).  Without it, it would be very hard for a QOZB to satisfy the QOZB requirements.
